Hanna Cots articles (in your 20’s in the 80s of yoga in the 80s from energy training: How to reach Pick Fitness at any age, May 31), at the age of 3 (May 28), another similar article. What about people over the age of 90s like me, 94, still activated in the roaring machine (11 minutes 16 seconds for 2,000 meters)? In the same week, an article was 105 years old a very fit a very fit. Our County, Surrey, is at the age of the oldest man in Britain at the age of 115. Don’t forget more than 90 in your articles on fitness.

Me and my 5-plus-old friends were smiling when we read that we could consider ourselves “in good shape” if we could walk for 10 minutes. Since many of us play regular fare, gardens, swimming, cycles and tennis, we clearly need to examine the fitness values more closely for our age. Or maybe we should only retire to our bath chairs?

I didn’t know if I had to laugh or cry when I read your article. Yes, my 82-year-old neighbor can walk for 10 minutes without assistance-he has just completed his bike two full circuits in Richmond Park. My wife, a 77 -year -old WhiperSnapper, walks six miles with our dogs every day, recently completed the ongoing program of 5K, joining Barry and Yoga classes every week and teaches pile. These are healthy people of a particular age. There are many like them. Please do not distract old age with disability.

Hanna Cotes describes a horrible cliff edge at the age of 5, when we walk for 10 minutes, we should obviously be satisfied. I first joined a rambling club when I was at the beginning of my 60s 20 years ago. I can walk 10 miles without assistance, thank you for asking. Although it may take my five hours.

Sarah was great to read about Roberts (‘Never think you’re too old’: Meet the fastest 75 -year -old woman in the world, May 31). As 61 years old, I reminded me a recent run on the holidays. After I finished, I looked at my new GPS-capable Sports Watch My wife Tracy recently bought me and was surprised that I ran the last three miles every 4 minutes 15 seconds on average!
It was just a while later, I reminded myself that I was rushing around a cruise ship and we were about 20 knots.
